The Evolution of Camy Couture

Cindy Bowser and Amy Jech opened their first retail store in 2006 under the name of Bella Boutique. They quickly expanded with two additional stores that year.  Customers loved the event shopping concept so much that many expressed interest in owning their own Bella Boutique store.  In 2009, they decided to expand the business and offer franchise licenses for Bella Boutique. As you can imagine, this was an exciting opportunity and many purchased the rights to open their own Bella Boutique locations in the first two years.

Amid the rapid growth, Cindy and Amy were working very hard to build the brand and, with that, protect the brand with the necessary trademarks.  In late 2010, they were confronted with a trademark conflict that forced them to change the name of the company and do away with the Bella Boutique brand.

 Determined not to let this bring the business down, Cindy and Amy set forth to find a new name that would define their business and remain a permanent brand in the eyes of their customers.  In May of 2011, in partnership with the existing franchise store owners, they re-introduced their company with a new name and a new look – Welcome Camy Couture!
